Old County Pitch & Putt Club

One of Old County's brightest juveniles Shane Lawlor can be seen on our tv screens over the next three weeks. Shane and his school pals at St.Agnes primary School are involved in a unique musical project and the documentary tracks their progress as they aim to play at the National Concert Hall. The second part can be seen tonight at 10:15 on RTE1 - "Music changes Lives", we hope Shane wil be a great success but will be back on the course again in April when the pitch & putt season tees off for them again.

The Winter conditions are persisting and with more snow due to fall over the coming days and frozen ground. It is unlikely the course will re-open before next weekend. We will of course keep you posted if this changes.

Thursday planned committee meeting has been cancelled due to the inclement weather. It has been provisionally re-fixed for Thursday January 14th ( weather permitting).

The Course is currently closed due to the adverse wintry conditions. At this stage it is still unclear whether it will be open this weekend. The weather forecast suggests the freezing conditions will persist beyond the weekend and possibly into the following weekend. The commitee is due to meet this coming Thursday weather permitting  and they will make a decision regarding the coming weekend at this point. We will of course keep you updated as the weather conditions changes.
