Old County Pitch & Putt Club

Ladies and Gentlemen last night was Night 2 of our Club Fourball Matchplay which featured the quarter final and semi final matches. This is how it went:

Q/F 1: Karl Murphy and Stephen Murray won against Margaret Collins and Harry Holmes

Q/F 2: Laura Whelan and Stephen Power defeated Ann O'Shea and Kathleen Condron by  2&1

Q/F 3: Brian Gorman and Denis Grace won against Tommy Lynam and Joe Canning

Q/F 4: Kevin Bermingham and Mal Kellett defeated defending champions Agnes Redmond and Dave Redmond by 1 hole.

On to the semi finals and the results were as follows:

S/F 1: Karl Murphy and Stephen Murray continued their high standard of pitch and putt to defeat Laura Whelan and Stephen Power 4 & 3

S/F 2: Brian Gorman and Denis Grace won against Kevin Bermingham and Mal Kellett by 1 hole.

So the line up for tonights 36 hole final (Wednesday 23 August 2023 at 6pm) is:

Karl Murphy (+1) and Stephen Murray (+1) v Brian Gorman (-6) & Denis Grace (-4).
