Ladies and Gentlemen the draw was made in the clubhouse today for the Sean McDermott Cup Mixed Foursomes Matchplay 2022. First Round matches will be played this coming Tuesday 21 June 2022. If players can get there for 6.30pm we can get the matches started then. All matches up to the final are 18 holes, the final being 36 holes.

The Draw is as follows:

Match 1: Vera Glennon (-8) and Tony Byrne (-9)   v   Teresa Keating (-16) and Captain Patrick Charles (-11)  Teresa and Charlie receive 4 shots.

Match 2: Dolores Mason (-9) and Mal Kellett (-8)   v   Ann McFarlane (-18) and Frank Gallagher (-16)    Ann and Frank receive 6 shots

Match 3: Ann O'Shea (-11) and Kevin Bermingham (0)   v   Bridie Roche (-20) and Hugh Barnwell (-12) Bridie and Hugh receive 8 shots

Match 4: Katherine Moore (-18) and Denis Grace (-8)   v   Deirdre Curran (-13) and Gerry Clarges (-4)  Katherine and Denis receive 3 shots

Match 5: Agnes Redmond (-13) and Dave Redmond (-3)   v   Mary Devoy (-18) and Geoege Lamon (-14) Mary and George receive 6 shots

Match 6: Captain Laura Whelan (-10) and Stephen Power (0)   v   Margaret Collins (-21) and John Hanevy (-16) Margaret and John receive 10 shots

Match 7: Madeline Nugent (-13) and Stephen Murray (+1)   v   Pauline Balfe (-7) and Tom Balfe (-7)  Pauline and Tom receive 1 shot

Match 8: Kathleen Condron (-13) and Joe Canning (-4)   v   Joan Palmer (-14) and Brian Gorman (-9)  Joan and Brian receive 2 shots

The winners above will play round 2 on the Wednesday night. The semi final will also be played Wednesday night and the final on Thursday Night.
