Ladies and Gentlemen the results for Week 9 of the Turkeys are as follows:

Gents Class 1 (+3 to -3) 18 Nett:  Stephen Power  41

Gents Class 2 (-4 to -9) 18 Nett:  Tom Lynam  37

Gents Class 3 (-10 to -16) 18 Nett:  Maurice Dunne  36

Ladies A (scr to -13) 18 Nett:  Deirdre Curran  43

Ladies B (-14 to -21) 18 Nett:  Lucy Quinn  45

Thank you to the 40 players who returned 97 cards to the competitions box over the weekend.

Ladies and Gentlemen we have now completed 3 weekends of Hamper Number 2 with 2 more weekends to go. Best 3 weekends out of 5 to count for overall score. Here is where we are at:

In Gents Division 1, all still to play for, never mind who is on top, he can quickly fall off.  Lots of players still in with a shout and is gonna go right to the end. Just like Liverpool, never give up. (sorry folks I had to get that in, was a happy day in my world!!!)

In Gents Division 2 Liam Comerford has opened up a commanding 10 shot lead with some excellent pitch and putt and is now on 30 under par. Liam's nearest challenger is Joe Byrne in 2nd play on 20 under par.

In Gents Division 3 Kevin Keatinge continues his fine consistent form to move to 32 under par and is 4 shots ahead of Eugene Coyne in 2nd place on 28 under par.

In the Ladies Division Pauline Balfe extends her lead to 6 shots and is now on 19 under par with Kathleen Condron in 2nd place on 13 under par.

We have 2 more weekends folks before the Christmas to see who is number 1. Fingers crossed for Fairy Tale of New York.

Hamper Number 2 Week 3 League Tables

Ladies and Gentlemen we have now completed 2 weekends of the 2nd hamper and here is whats happening:

In Gents Division 1  Captain Ken McKinlay, Stephen Murray and Stephen Power lead the way on 14 under par and following closely behind them on 13 under par is Joe Canning and Gerry Clarges. 

Gents Division 2 sees Liam Comerford lead the way on 19 under par. Denis Grace is the nearest challenger to Liam, Denis  on 15 under par after 2 weekends.

In Gents Division 3, Kevin Keatinge, who is in excellent form at the moment leads on 23 under par and is 6 shots ahead of his nearest challengers Eugene Coyne  and Nicky Quinn both on 17 under par.

In the Ladies Division Pauline Balfe is in first place on 15 under par, with President Kathleen Condron 2 shots back on 13 under par.

Hamper Number 2 Week 2 League Tables

Ladies and Gentlemen last weekend was Week 8 of our Turkey Competitions. It was the best supported weekend to date of the Turkeys with 131 cards returned to the competitions box by 51 players.  It was also a weekend where one of our top players put together the round of the year. A fantastic score of 39 Gross (15 under par) was put together by Stephen Murray on Sunday morning :
