Weekend Results - 09th - 11th FebIt was a very cold weekend ( especially Sunday) for those playing and the scoring again shows just how good our players are around the temporary greens, some super scoring here. |
Weekend Results - 02nd - 04th FebThere was nothing like the scoring of the previous week, but still a very good standard on a cold weekend for the players. No surprise many of those in the winners circles their teams are at the leading edge of the Winter Leagues. Winter Leagues - Week 3We are almost at the half way point in the Winter Leagues and already we have a few who have galloped off into the distance as a few have faded. Sadly three teams did not post a score this week as just two out of four from that team could play, but as teams can discard scores all is not lost yet. Our early leaders Team D have been overtaken and have dropped to 5th but this week may end up being a score they discount so they are still in the mix. Team J though are flying and posted the best score of the leagues so far in -45, special mention to Alice sargent after a wonderful 37. Team F and Team H are in close pursuit as both broke the -40, again Ann O'Shea with a 38 and Michael Quinn also with -38 were key players here. The leaderboard is below with the dull scores below that.

At the head of affairs was Jim Milligan with a brilliant 32 Nett, after a difficult year in 2017, great to see Jim back playing and playing so well, what a score from him. Paul Griffin was the top senior with a 43. Conor O'Shea continues to impress with a 38. This was matched by Ann with a 38 and Josie Kane was also in the winner circle with a 38. Watch out for their cuts at the weekend, there will be some big ones. Well done to all the winners. Weekend Competition - January 26th - 28th. Senior Winner: Paul Griffin 43 Nett ( Temp Cut of 1 Shot) Inter Winner: Conor O'Shea 38 Nett ( Temp Cut of 4 Shots) Junior Winner: Jim Milligan 32 Nett ( Temp Cut of 10 shots) Ladies A Winner: Ann O'Shea 38 Nett ( Temp Cut 4 Shots) Ladies B Winner: Josie Kane 38 Nett ( Temp Cut 4 Shots). Winter Leagues - Week 2We are at the end of January but with the recent bad weather the Winter leagues are just on Week 2 and the leaderboard is listed below. It is still very tight at the top with just three shots separating the top 4 but it is early stages and a lot can change. Team D with David Redmond, Frank O'Neill and Kevin Keatinge leading the way ably assisted with Madeline Nugent and they are -81 after 2 weeks. The Full list of scores are available here |
