Winter Leagues: Team H take healthy lead into final week

In the penultimate weekend Team H more or less won the Winter League title as they added 129 and were able to remove the score of 130 from week 1 as they improved their score by 1 shot. Team F remain in second and made up a shot on the leaders but sadly for them it won't be enough. Team J actually scored the gap on Team F making up six shots but the reality is they too left it too late to challenge for 2nd. Team C are now clear in 4th a further 16 shots back. Unfortunately a number of teams have not yet got the 8 scores in and so will not be able to drop any scores from their total. This weekend Team H can enjoy the final weekend after a job well done. Of the individual scores that stood out. Jenn McGreal with an excellent 39, Phyllis Davis had a 41, Vera Moore and Alice Sargent both had 40's and Kevin Keatinge with a 40 and Christy Broe with a 41 were the bright lights of the gents.
