Ladies and Gentlemen last Friday and Saturday we had a sweepstake competition, which meant one 18 nett prize in each grade. Just over 80 cards were played, well done to everyone who got out to play. Tom O’Reilly continues his excellent form going around the course in 42 strokes (44 Nett) to win the Senior Prize and Kathleen Wohooo Condron had a fantastic 39 Nett in the Ladies B section. Ladies and Gentlemen last weekend we had some fantastic scoring in our weekend stableford competition. Over 130 cards were played, thank you very much to everyone who turned out to support the competition.

2 players reached the magical 50 points mark, Jim Milligan setting an early pace on Friday in the Gents Junior Grade with a superb round that no one could catch over the weekend. Well done Jim, super score.

In the Gents Senior grade George McGreal rambled around on Sunday morning, cool as a cucumber, shooting 14 under par (50 points). George was unlucky  on the 18^th with a putt that just shaved the hole for what would have been 39 strokes. Great scoring George.

The Ladies A section was very close, with 3 players finishing on 46 points, however a fantastic back 9 by Madeline saw her over the winning line. Full results below, Congratulations to all the winners

A big thanks to all who supported our Open over last weekend. We were trying out a new 4 day open and we were pleased with the number and results. well done to our winners we had a lot of home winners  but a special mention to our outside winners Junior Smith from RGSC and Michelle & Gemma McCarthy from Tipp Hills and Hillview. The scoring was very hot but the course was still tough enough to stop any duo breaching the 50 pts in 1 round. Our Sponsors Sundrive Credit Union will be represented by Kieran Clancy on Friday night it will be the last time for them to sponsor us after the merger with Capital Credit Union. We will be forever indebted for their support over the last 26 years, so a huge thanks to them. Presentation is on Friday night after a Scramble at 18.30. All are welcome to play in the scramble. Presentation will be around 20.15 - 20.30.
