Old County Pitch & Putt Club

Last weekend the sun shone brightly on Friday and Saturday before the rain on Sunday and in advance of the Captains week, we saw some excellent scoring. Tom O'Reilly took the 18 Nett with a staggering 46 pts and still only won on back 6.  Kevin Bermingham is once again playing great despite just playing just 1 round with 44 points.  Gerry Clarges shot a fantastic 45 points in the Inters whilst Liam Comerford won the Gross with 37 points.

In the juniors Tom Mulvey won the 18 Nett with 45 points and great to see Matt McCann in the winners circle with 31 points in the Gross. 

In the ladies A Dolores Mason was the Nett winner on 45 pts on back 9 and Pauline Balfe was the gross winner on 35 points. 

In the B section, our lady captain was the Nett winner on 43 points on Back 6. Whilst in the Gross it was Teresa Keating who took the plaudits with 29 points.

We had gents,Ladies, Mixed and Gross winners in the Bank Holiday 4ball on Monday. Conor  & Sean O'Shea teamed up to great affect to win the Gents 18Nett. Angela Smith & Betty Webb had an excellent score of 49 pts to win the Ladies. The mixed went to Phyllis Davis & Tony Byrne with an impressive 51 points and the Gross winners were Karl Murphy and President Paul McGreal with 46 points. Thanks to all who supported it.
